The recreational ocean crabbing season is closed from Oct. 16 through Nov. 30. All rockfish and lingcod trips during this time will not have the crabbing add-on as an option. Crabbing re-opens on Dec. 1, and the add-on option will return at that time. Recreational crabbing is still permitted in Yaquina Bay year-round. We offer self-guided boat rentals and crab ring rentals for bay crabbing.  Boat rentals are available by appointment Thursday-Monday in the winter, and will be unavailable to allow for employee vacation time Nov. 21-30 and Dec. 24-27.
