As of January 1, 2022, after almost 25 years, Chris Olson retired and he and Kim started a new chapter in their lives tending the ranch in Siletz.

Yaquina Bay Charters is now the charter office in South Beach, with Jack Craven at the helm of charter operations.  Jack’s sister Lauren and his wife Rachel Craven own the Newport Marina Store, and the two companies partner together to offer deep sea fishing charters, and all sorts of bait, tackle, snacks, beer, and a little bit of everything for your convenience at the marina. We also have small aluminum boat rentals plus crab rings and clam guns available for rent through Yaquina Bay Rentals.

Come fish with us aboard the Crackerjack, Gracie K, Miss Raven, Spindrift, or Umatilla II for an unforgettable day on the beautiful Pacific Ocean.  This summer we may also have a new 6-pack boat to offer!

We offer a wide selection of charter trips and boats to make your fishing trip spectacular.  These smooth sailing vessels can hold up to 25-30 people, but we limit the boats to the number of passengers who can fish at one time, which means you are not crowded at all like at some other companies and you never have to take turns fishing.

We have some of Oregon’s best charter captains and some of the best vessels that this state has to offer.
