Our boats and crew supply everything you need for fishing on all of our trips. Due to Covid protocols we do not currently have self-serve coffee on the boat, but we have coffee and other hot and cold beverages and snacks available for purchase in our store.
A fishing license is required, and they are available for purchase when you check in. We are not able to issue annual licenses or access ODFW accounts, so if you want an annual license please go online to huntfishoregon.com or visit a local BiMart, Big 5, or Walmart. Shellfish licenses are required for crabbing. One-day fishing licenses are $23 and one-day fishing/shellfish combo licenses are $32.50.
To make your trip as enjoyable as possible, we recommend you dress warmly, in layers. The weather can be unpredictable on the ocean, and can change quickly.
Rubber soled shoes are the best, and rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen and a camera are good options to have along. Rain gear is a good option on rainy days, and if you forget yours, we have some in stock.
Food and drinks are available in the store, or bring your own along. We also sell tackle, sandwiches, soda pop, beer, ice, some groceries, crab bait, herring, an assortment of bait to fish with, snacks and breakfast pastries.
For those of you that are sensitive to motion, we recommend you talk to your pharmacist, don’t over do it the night before, eat normally. Follow the directions of the product of your choice. We have Dramamine available in the store.
After your fishing trip, we have fish fillet service, vacuum packing and freezing storage available, to make handling your catch as easy as possible.

Directions to our store: If you’re coming from the North through Newport, take the first right after the bridge on the South end of Newport. Follow that road to the end – the round-a-bout. Take the exit to the boat ramp/launch. We’re the store at the boat ramp.
