Rockfishing has been good most days, but can be spotty at times with fluctuating water temps. The limit is 5 rockfish per person, plus 2 lingcod. This isn’t the best season for nearshore lingcod but we are catching and releasing some small ones and picking up a few keepers each day. We’re running the half day trips almost every day. Definitely call at least a couple days ahead of time if you’re hoping for a Friday or Saturday.
Crabbing is very good lately, some shells are still soft and about half-full, but we’re finding a lot hardening up and getting fuller. You can add crabbing to any trip except tuna for $25 extra, or you can take an afternoon ocean crabbing charter for $75 per person.
Coho Salmon was doing well before it closed on Aug. 18, and now we’re just waiting for Sept. 1 when the non-selective season opens. This season is typically the best time of year for salmon fishing as we can keep any salmon of legal length. Give us a call to get on the books for the first couple weeks of September if you want to partake in the Coho rodeo, as we never know how long the limtied quota will last!
We are currently running 12 hour Tuna trips. The most success has still been out about 45-50 miles which is about the maximum we want to be going. Our average per person catch is currently 4. As long as the tuna stay consistently within 50 miles we will continue booking trips for them, and we’re only opening up new trips about 2 weeks in advance as we never know when they will move back out of range.

We sell one day fishing licenses, which include crabbing, but we do not sell yearly fishing licenses or combined angling tags. You can call ODFW at 503-947-6000 to find out where to purchase them.
